Webcam Notarization in Ohio

Since presenting on webcam and electronic notarization at the American Vessel Documentation Association (AVDA) on September 24, 2017, we have confirmed that Ohio has ratified the use of webcam notarization technology. Effective September 29, 2017, Ohio allowed individuals to "visually appear" before notaries through the use of “electronic communications devices".
